Hi anonymous,

Bake the cake first, slice away the crust, spread butter cream/jam then stick the two cakes together.

For the Mexican Pandan Kaya Buns, you can use the sweet bun recipe already post on my blog (raisins buns), fill it with kaya. As for the topping just cream 50g butter and 40g sugar together, beat in 45g egg, 50g flour and some pandan paste to form smooth batter. Pipe around the bread dough after 2nd proving and bake it.

Hi Happy Flour

Thanks..
For the mexican kaya bread, do u have any nice kaya recipe?

what do u mean by "2nd proving"?

Happy Flour said...

Hi Anonymous,

How can I address you?

You can check it out on the internet on serikaya recipe.

Bread making has two stages of proving, mean resting for the dough to double in size. 2nd proving is the last stage of resting after shaping the dough.

Hope this will help. You can refer to any bread recipe and read the steps on bread making.
