A Thank You Note

I'm felt very touched after reading all my friends warmest greetings. Thank you everyone for leaving your lovely comments. ^_^

It been a very busy July for my family and me as my three lovely gentlemen had to adjust their daily routine to suit this working mum. I'll try to find some time to bake during the school holiday. See you all then. ^_^

Farewell!

This is my last post and I will bid everyone farewell. I had went back to my working field after this eleven long years of being a stay home mum (homemaker). For the past few years, it been a wonderful and fruitful trip for me blogging around the cyber sphere. I like to say 'Thank you all my blogging friends'. I may or may not leave a comment on your blog but stepping into your lovely room really spice up my life. It very kind of each individual of you for sharing so many wonderful recipes, cooking and baking experiences on your blog. Without all your wonderful blogs I'm just like a frog in a deep...deep well.

Wishing everyone happy blogging, happy cooking and happy baking. Friends, do continue to share more wonderful recipes. I will stop by your blog drooling over your delicious post and add some spices to my tiring day too. I will bake and share recipe if I have the free time. Best wishes to everyone out there and thanks once again! ^_^

Comment and Reply

Two days ago, I had received a comment from Joyce. She commented on my blog layout ("your header photo is a bit blurry and bland. You should add more color and pazzaz.") and how I should put in more words than just photos and recipes. Lastly, she also requested not to post her advice. I respected her request and I do like to thanks her for her advice.

However, I must share my thought on what she had commented. Everyone had their own view and opinion on how theirs and others blog looks and layout. I'm very happy with my header and my blog layout, so for the moment I will not make any changes to it.

I'm not sure whether did you read my past posts. I do provide details on my bakes when I think it is necessary. In future I will try to write a bit more but I'll still preferred readers to leave questions on the comment corner where I can answer specific questions then for me to post irrelevant information on my blog. And I also preferred to spend more time on researching and testing out recipes.

My blog and blogging is only a small part of my daily routine. So I wanted to keep it simple and easy for me to manage. Please try to understand my points.

SIS Sugar Fun Is In

Two weeks ago Talya has drop me a comment inviting my family and I to join a baking contest held by SIS sugar. However I had turned her down as I have other program lined up for that particular weekend. Two days ago she dropped me another comment and this time she has lined up more interesting events for the 'Sugar' lover. I think I must share it with my readers these interesting events organized by SIS Sugar. Have some Sugar Fun. Happy baking.

Talya's message:
The first element is an online jingle contest - SIS Jingle Jam - where families record their own version of the original SIS Sugar Jingle. I hope this would appeal to your readers as there are on offer a range of premium Philips equipment and tools to help them with their culinary pursuits. For more information about the Jingle Jam and prizes up for grabs see the Facebook fan page http://tinyurl.com/2f2n6r7

The second element is a bit of a celebration of all things sweet down at Palawan Beach, Sentosa on 7th & 8th August being held in conjunction with the filming of the Great Singapore Cook Off!. The day will include mixing and icing demonstrations for mums and kids - to try their hand at mixing and decorating with prizes for creativity, cupcake decoration contest, sampling of nostalgic treats and more. We would love for you to join us as our guest on one of the days if you would be free and able. If of interest I can forward you the schedule.

Lastly, we would love for you to guest post a favourite sweet recipe of yours to the SIS Sugar Fan Page and perhaps even provide us with a sweet tip of the week. We really hope this become a great place where people come together and share their recipes and love of sweet things. We would hope that this would help you attract some new followers.
