The konnyaku jelly powder takes a long time to dissolve and I have to put it back over the fire to dissolve it. I wonder what went wrong. MH

Hi MH,

The water must be boiling then you pour the water into the sugar and jelly powder mixture and stir until it is totally dissolved.

Yes, boiling when I pour in the jelly powder. But the powder turn cloggy and wont dissolve. How long does yours take to dissolve? I need to stir like over 30 mins but still cloggy. MH

Hi MH,

It took about 10-15mins and it dissolved. I made this a few time and I didn't face any problem. The jelly mixture should be thick like watery soft jelly but not in liquid form.

Hi,

For the raspberry filling, can I substitute with raspberry jam instead?

Hi Anonymous,

Yes, you can substitute with raspberry jam. You have to adjust on the sweetness.
