I have the premix. Do you mind sharing the methods and steps how to achieve such puffy mochi. Mine usually comes out flat after removing from the oven. When did you add in the eggs, water and oil?
I beat the mixture at medium speed until smooth and sticky dough, should be about 10mins. I'm using top and bottom heating. I think maybe your premix is different from mine. You better followed the recipe provided.

Hi ver and anonymous,
ReplyDeleteThis is a premix flour which can be bought from Malaysia, the recipe comes with the packaging. I bought it from my friend.
How is the taste like? Similar to Aunty Yo's one. Now, Zhong Yong, the one that sold the mochi flour, no longer selling this flour.
ReplyDeleteHi Doris,

ReplyDeleteI added everything into the mixer and beat together until smooth and sticky dough.
Hi Happy Flour,
ReplyDeleteDid you beat on high speed and for how long? Did you use the top and bottom heat + fan mode to bake? Sorry for asking so many questions.
Thanks
